I’m Lisa Kholostenko.

I’m a writer and producer.

I’ve spent the last six years in a creative think tank called The Brain Trust at NBCUniversal, where I developed 45+ series in collaboration with the studios of Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Kenan Thompson, and more.

I was part of the Emmy-nominated digital team at The Voice—twice recognized for Outstanding Interactive Program and Short Form Comedy. A short I wrote, directed, and produced starring Amy Poehler and Nick Offerman was also nominated for a Webby.

I was a Senior Producer on Amy Poehler's Making It, a show I helped develop and sell to NBC. Later, I was part of the development team for its spin-off Baking It, starring Maya Rudolph and Andy Samberg.

I've worked as a creative consultant for HBOMax and the BBC.

I helped launch the social media program at The Voice, led an eight-person production team, and produced over 1,000 digital shorts across its first nine seasons.

I founded a digital content studio called The Seventeenth Creative, with clients including Lip Sync Battle and Rob + Mariel.

I write a culture newsletter called Empty Calories. You should subscribe.
